Mine began in the summer of 2007, when I was a high school upperclassman at Hammond High. My dad went half with me on my first DSLR camera—a decision that would unknowingly plant the seeds of a lifelong journey.

The Trials That Defined Me

Between 2012 and 2014, I experienced two devastating instances of equipment theft, both while pursuing my dream. At the same time, my mother was battling breast cancer.

I realized photography wasn't just my passion; it was my calling. I decided to build a business that couldn't be stolen from me again.

DowUrk Inc. is Born

Inspired by my experiences and the lack of accessible business resources for creatives like me, I envisioned an organization that would bridge the gap between creative passion and sustainable entrepreneurship.
