Content Rights Agreement

Your Rights

• Copyright Ownership: You retain all copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights in your content.
• Exclusive Control: You may license, sell, modify, or distribute your content outside the platform as you see fit.
• Credit & Attribution: You will be credited as the creator whenever your content is displayed on the platform.
• Removal Rights: You may request removal of your content at any time, subject to the terms below.
• Commercial Use: You retain the right to commercially exploit your content independently.

6.1 Design Protection

• Original fashion designs, patterns, and sketches remain your exclusive property.
• DowUrk will not reproduce, manufacture, or sell garments based on your designs without separate written agreement.
• Technical patterns shared for educational purposes are licensed for personal use only by learners.

6.2 Label Ready Program

• Designers participating in the Foundation Label program retain full ownership of their brand and designs.
• Separate commercial agreements will be negotiated for any co-production or manufacturing partnerships.
• Revenue sharing arrangements, if any, will be documented in separate agreements.

6.3 Portfolio Protection

• Portfolio images are displayed with watermark protection options available.
• High-resolution downloads are restricted unless explicitly enabled by the creator.
• Right-click protection and image download prevention are enabled by default.

7.1 Film Submissions

• You retain full copyright to all films, documentaries, and scripts submitted.
• Films submitted for the Virtual Film Festival grant DowUrk exhibition rights for the festival period only.
• Festival winners may be featured in promotional materials with creator consent.

7.2 Collaborative Productions

• For multi-creator projects, copyright is shared according to written agreements between collaborators.
• DowUrk will facilitate but not dictate copyright arrangements between collaborators.
• Each collaborator must consent to the final distribution arrangement.

7.3 Industry Pipeline

• Projects completed through industry partnerships may have separate rights arrangements.
• All commercial distribution agreements will be documented separately.
• Creators will be informed of all rights implications before entering partnerships.

8.1 Your Removal Rights

• You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting us.
• We will remove content from public display within 30 days of request.
• Cached versions may persist temporarily due to technical limitations.
• Content incorporated into LMS modules may require curriculum adjustment time.

8.2 Survival of Licenses

• Platform display licenses terminate upon content removal.
• Previously authorized promotional uses may continue for materials already distributed.
• Educational content incorporated into courses may be retained for enrolled students to complete.

8.3 DowUrk's Right to Remove

We reserve the right to remove content that:

• Violates our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Is the subject of a valid copyright infringement claim
• Contains illegal or harmful content
• Misrepresents ownership or attribution

9.1 Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe your work has been infringed, send a notice to our designated agent including:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing material with URL
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief
• A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
• Your physical or electronic signature

9.2 Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may file a counter-notification. See our Takedown Policy for detailed procedures.
