Stewardship & Resources

The Global View

From the Lakota concept of thinking seven generations ahead, to the Islamic principle of Khalifa (caretaking), to the agrarian wisdom of leaving the corners of your field for the poor—there's a global consensus: what you have isn't fully yours. It's entrusted to you. Manage it well, share it wisely, and don't hoard what others need.

Ethical Pillar
Generosity & Responsibility

True stewardship means using your time, talent, and treasure to serve more than just yourself. Even when you have little, you can give something.

Workday Practice
Gratitude Inventory
2 min

At lunch or mid-shift, pause and mentally list three things you've used today that someone else made possible. Your uniform. Your tools. The floor you're standing on. Let gratitude root you.

Short version (60 sec):

Name three things others made possible for you today. That's it.

Reflection Question
What do you have that you could share more freely?
