Collard greens2 bunches
Sub: kale or mustard greens
Smoked turkey leg1
Sub: smoked turkey necks
Apple cider vinegar2 tbsp
Sub: lemon juice
Onion1 large
Sub: shallots
Instructions

    Clean and chop collard greens, removing tough stems

  2. 2

    Add turkey leg to pot with water and bring to boil

  3. 3

    Simmer for 1 hour until meat is tender

  4. 4

    Add greens in batches, cooking until wilted

  5. 5

    Simmer for 45 minutes, add vinegar at end
