A Place to Heal, Build, Belong
DowUrk's Veterans Program is built on deep personal experience. Our founder's nonbiological father served as a Vietnam Marine, and his biological father served in the Iraq War. This isn't an add-on — it's a core mission to create the support infrastructure that has historically been missing for veterans returning to rural Louisiana.
Located at the DowUrk Sports & Leadership Park — a 569-acre campus in Tangipahoa Parish designed from the ground up to serve those who served us.

The Legacy Line
"My nonbiological father, Sergeant Ralph Haynes, served as a Vietnam Marine. My biological father served in the Iraq War. I watched both of them navigate a system that wasn't built for their return. The DowUrk Veterans Program exists because I refuse to let another generation of veterans in Tangipahoa Parish come home to nothing."
